About this 2 seater sofas

Yaheetech 120cm Small Corduroy 2 Seater Loveseat in Light Grey

Short on space but not on comfort? The Yaheetech 120cm Small Corduroy 2 Seater Loveseat gives two people a proper seat in a footprint that suits studios, spare rooms, nurseries-turned-offices and compact living rooms. It is upholstered in corduroy in light grey. Corduroy has a ribbed pile that looks warm and textured, hides everyday marks better than a smooth weave and feels soft against bare arms. It is one of the most popular living-room upholstery choices in the UK right now.

Foam padding does the work in the seat and back, keeping the cushions plump and supportive. The frame is described as solid wood, which is what holds a sofa square and stops it creaking or sagging as the years go by. Expect it to arrive compressed: once opened, the cushions recover over a day or two, and the thickest foam can take up to 72 hours. Listed seat depth is 40cm, which means a more upright, easy-to-stand-up-from seat. Maximum load is listed at 600kg.

Practical extras listed include scatter cushions or pillows, so remotes, phones, drinks and blankets all have somewhere to go.

Day to day, a two-seater is the sofa you actually end up sitting on: it takes two people, or one person with a laptop and a blanket, and it leaves the rest of the room free for a coffee table, a desk or a play area. Light grey is a flexible, calm colour that works with warm woods, cool whites and bolder accent cushions alike.

The listing quotes a width of 120cm. It is listed as 2 seater. Expect to do a little assembly; instructions and fixings are supplied. Tape its footprint on the floor, then measure the front door, hallway and any stairs so there are no surprises on delivery day.

The colour in the photographs is a guide: lighting and screens differ, so judge the shade from the colour name and the photos together. It is a smart fit for students, couples and anyone downsizing who wants proper seating without losing the floor.

Care guide

How to care for your light grey corduroy two-seater sofa

A sofa is a big purchase, so a little regular care goes a long way. These steps are written for the corduroy on this sofa; always check the care label on the sofa itself first and test any cleaner on a hidden patch.

  1. Vacuum with the ribsOnce a week, run a soft upholstery brush attachment along the length of the ribs rather than across them. This lifts dust and crumbs out of the grooves without flattening the pile.
  2. Blot spills, never rubPress a clean, dry cloth onto a spill straight away to lift it. Rubbing drives liquid down into the ribs and can leave a shiny, flattened patch.
  3. Revive a flattened pileWhere the ribs have been crushed by sitting, go over the area with a soft clothes brush, working in the direction of the pile, to stand it back up.
  4. Plump and rotateGive the seat and back cushions a good plump once a week, and where cushions are loose swap their positions now and then so wear spreads evenly.
  5. Let it recover after unpackingCompressed foam needs time to reach full shape. Leave the sofa in a well-aired room for the period given in the listing, pat the cushions, and give it a few days of normal use before judging how it sits.
  6. Know when to call a professionalIf the sofa is badly stained or the label says professional cleaning only, an upholstery cleaner will know what is safe for the fabric. It costs far less than replacing the sofa, and always test any product on a hidden area first.

Got questions?

Frequently Asked Questions

What size is the Yaheetech 120cm Small Corduroy 2 Seater Loveseat?

The listing gives a width of 120cm. Seat depth is 40cm. It is listed as 2 seats. Measure your space and the route into the room before ordering.

Does it need assembly, and how long does it take?

Yes, some assembly is required and the instructions and fixings are supplied. Check the specification table and allow a little time, ideally with a second pair of hands.

How do I keep the corduroy looking good?

Once a week, run a soft upholstery brush attachment along the length of the ribs rather than across them. This lifts dust and crumbs out of the grooves without flattening the pile. Press a clean, dry cloth onto a spill straight away to lift it. Rubbing drives liquid down into the ribs and can leave a shiny, flattened patch. The full care guide is further up this page.

Is it comfortable for long sitting?

The seat is foam-filled, and a seat depth of 40cm gives a more upright, easy-to-stand-up-from seat.

It arrived compressed. How long until it looks right?

Compressed foam needs time. Unpack it in a well-aired room, place it where it will live, pat the cushions and allow the time quoted in the listing to expand fully; a few days of normal use settles it.

How much is delivery and how long will it take?

Delivery is free on orders over £100. Your exact delivery information is confirmed at checkout, and large items may be delivered separately from smaller orders.

Can I return it if it is not right?

Yes, in line with our returns policy. Because sofas are large and often delivered on a pallet or in a large carton, please read the returns page for how to arrange a return and email us before sending anything back.

Delivery day: how to get the 2 seater sofa ready

3 min read sofadepot.co.uk

Clear the path

Move rugs, plants and small furniture out of the hall and room, and open internal doors fully. A clear route is the easiest way to avoid scuffed paint and stressed carriers.

Unwrap with care

Use scissors, not a knife, and cut away from the upholstery. Check the sofa over for any damage as soon as it is unwrapped and take a photo if something is wrong.

Give it time to expand

Compressed sofas need hours or days to recover. Unpack it where it will live, pat each cushion and avoid sitting heavily on it until it is fully risen.

Keep the packaging for a few days

If anything is wrong, the original packaging makes any return or exchange far simpler. Keep it until you are sure you are happy.
