About this modular & cloud sofas

Vipbear 5-in-1 Boneless Modular Sofa in Green, 79 Inch

Modular sofas trade the fixed shape of a traditional suite for flexibility, and the Vipbear 5-in-1 Boneless Modular Sofa is a good example: separate pieces that connect into one generous seating area. It is upholstered in corduroy in green. Corduroy has a ribbed pile that looks warm and textured, hides everyday marks better than a smooth weave and feels soft against bare arms. It is one of the most popular living-room upholstery choices in the UK right now.

Memory foam is listed in the seat, so it settles around you rather than pushing back, and returns to shape once you get up. With a listed seat depth of 61cm and a seat height of 40cm, you get a deep seat that suits lounging, curling up and sitting cross-legged.

Because the sections are separate, you can place them as an L-shape, push them together into one wide sofa, or split them across the room.

The deep seat and low profile give a lounge-style feel that suits a relaxed living space more than a formal one. Green is a statement colour: it makes the sofa the centre of the room, and it works best with neutral walls and a restrained palette around it.

It is listed as 3 seater. It needs no assembly out of the box. Before ordering, check the space it will sit in and the route it takes to get there: front door, hallway, stairs and turns.

Colours always look a little different on screen than in a living room, so judge the shade against the listed colour name and the photos together. It suits people who rearrange the room, rent a home they may leave, or are not sure yet which layout will work best.

Care guide

How to care for your green corduroy modular sofa

A sofa is a big purchase, so a little regular care goes a long way. These steps are written for the corduroy on this sofa; always check the care label on the sofa itself first and test any cleaner on a hidden patch.

  1. Vacuum with the ribsOnce a week, run a soft upholstery brush attachment along the length of the ribs rather than across them. This lifts dust and crumbs out of the grooves without flattening the pile.
  2. Blot spills, never rubPress a clean, dry cloth onto a spill straight away to lift it. Rubbing drives liquid down into the ribs and can leave a shiny, flattened patch.
  3. Spot clean carefullyFor a mark that blotting has not shifted, use a cloth barely dampened with mild soapy water, test a hidden corner first, and let it dry naturally rather than with a hairdryer.
  4. Check the connectionsEvery month or so, push the sections firmly together and check any connectors, so the sofa stays one tidy shape rather than slowly drifting apart.
  5. Keep it away from heat and strong sunRadiators, fires and a window that gets all-day sun fade and dry out upholstery. A gap from heat sources and a curtain or blind at the brightest hours keeps the colour true for longer.
  6. Know when to call a professionalIf the sofa is badly stained or the label says professional cleaning only, an upholstery cleaner will know what is safe for the fabric. It costs far less than replacing the sofa, and always test any product on a hidden area first.

Got questions?

Frequently Asked Questions

What size is the Vipbear 5-in-1 Boneless Modular Sofa?

Seat depth is 61cm and seat height 40cm. It is listed as 3 seats. Measure your space and the route into the room before ordering.

Does it need assembling?

No, it is listed as needing no assembly. Unpack it, remove the packaging and place it where you want it.

How do I keep the corduroy looking good?

Once a week, run a soft upholstery brush attachment along the length of the ribs rather than across them. This lifts dust and crumbs out of the grooves without flattening the pile. Press a clean, dry cloth onto a spill straight away to lift it. Rubbing drives liquid down into the ribs and can leave a shiny, flattened patch. The full care guide is further up this page.

Can I rearrange the sections?

Yes, the sections are separate and can be arranged to suit the room. Measure the space you plan to use before choosing a layout.

Will it fit through my door?

Measure the narrowest point on the route in, such as the front door, hallway turns and stairs, and compare it to the listed dimensions. If a sofa is tight, check whether it comes in sections or can be tilted.

How much is delivery and how long will it take?

Delivery is free on orders over £100. Your exact delivery information is confirmed at checkout, and large items may be delivered separately from smaller orders.

Can I return it if it is not right?

Yes, in line with our returns policy. Because sofas are large and often delivered on a pallet or in a large carton, please read the returns page for how to arrange a return and email us before sending anything back.

How to style a green modular sofa in your living room

3 min read sofadepot.co.uk

Start with the rug

A rug that is big enough for the front legs of the sofa to sit on ties the seating area together. In a green scheme, go for a texture rather than a clashing pattern.

Layer the cushions

Odd numbers look better than even ones. Mix one plain cushion with a textured one and one pattern, keeping the palette to two or three colours.

Mind the lighting

A floor lamp at one end and a table lamp on a side table give a warmer, layered glow than one ceiling light, and show the upholstery at its best in the evening.

Leave room to move

Floating the sofa slightly away from the wall, if the room is big enough, makes it feel more like a destination and gives the space an intentional look.
