Miuuod 178cm Oversized Cloud Loveseat: a compact seat for smaller rooms

About this 2 seater sofas

Miuuod 178cm Oversized Cloud Loveseat in Cream White

Smaller rooms deserve a sofa that fits them properly. The Miuuod 178cm Oversized Cloud Loveseat is a two-seater loveseat-style piece for flats, bedrooms, offices and entrance halls. It is upholstered in velvet in cream white. Velvet has a dense, soft pile that catches the light and gives a room a more finished, upholstered look. It rewards a little regular care and feels noticeably plusher than a flat weave.

Cushioning is foam filling, the usual choice for a seat that stays supportive through daily use. The listing mentions spring support under the seat, which adds a lively, supportive bounce. Wood is listed as the frame material, the part of a sofa that matters most for how long it keeps its shape. Listed seat depth is 51cm and seat height 45cm, which means a balanced seat that works for both sitting up and relaxing back. A listed weight limit of 149.99kg points to a frame built for everyday use.

Two-seater sofas like this one are chosen for comfort first: the cushioning, the seat depth and the upholstery matter more than any single extra, and the specification table sets out the details for this model.

Day to day, a two-seater is the sofa you actually end up sitting on: it takes two people, or one person with a laptop and a blanket, and it leaves the rest of the room free for a coffee table, a desk or a play area. Cream white reflects light around the room and suits smaller or north-facing spaces, with the trade-off that it needs a little more attention to stay looking fresh.

It measures 178cm across, as listed. It is listed as 2 seater. Some assembly is required; the fixings and instructions come with it. Measure the room and, just as importantly, the hallway, stairs and doorways it has to get through before you order.

Real rooms are never lit like a photo studio, so allow for the shade to look a little warmer or cooler at home. It suits first homes, rented flats, spare rooms and home offices, and works well as a second sofa in a larger room.

Care guide

How to care for your cream white velvet two-seater sofa

A sofa is a big purchase, so a little regular care goes a long way. These steps are written for the velvet on this sofa; always check the care label on the sofa itself first and test any cleaner on a hidden patch.

1. Brush the pile weeklyUse a soft clothes brush or the upholstery attachment on low suction, moving in one direction, to keep the pile even and lift dust before it works in.
2. Blot, do not scrubDab spills with a clean white cloth straight away. Scrubbing can crush and mark velvet, and coloured cloths can transfer dye onto a pale sofa.
3. Keep it away from steam and heatHot irons and steam cleaners can flatten or water-mark velvet. If a crease needs help, hold a steamer well clear of the surface or ask a professional upholstery cleaner.
4. Plump and rotateGive the seat and back cushions a good plump once a week, and where cushions are loose swap their positions now and then so wear spreads evenly.
5. Keep it away from heat and strong sunRadiators, fires and a window that gets all-day sun fade and dry out upholstery. A gap from heat sources and a curtain or blind at the brightest hours keeps the colour true for longer.
6. Know when to call a professionalIf the sofa is badly stained or the label says professional cleaning only, an upholstery cleaner will know what is safe for the fabric. It costs far less than replacing the sofa, and always test any product on a hidden area first.
