HOMCOM Linen-Look Wingback 2 Seater Loveseat, 117cm, in Dark Green
The HOMCOM Linen-Look Wingback 2 Seater Loveseat, 117cm, is a two-seater designed for the rooms where a full-length sofa would swallow the floor: flats, bedrooms, home offices, conservatories and snug second sitting rooms. It is upholstered in linen in dark green. Linen-look upholstery has a light, natural weave that brings an airy, relaxed feel to a room. It is breathable, easy on the eye in bright rooms and pairs well with both warm and cool colour schemes.
The seat is foam-filled, which is what gives a sofa its shape and spring back through years of sitting. The listing mentions spring support under the seat, which adds a lively, supportive bounce. Slim metal legs raise the sofa clear of the floor, adding a lighter, more modern profile. With a listed seat depth of 50cm and a seat height of 48cm, you get a balanced seat that works for both sitting up and relaxing back. Maximum load is listed at 220kg.
Practical extras listed include scatter cushions or pillows, so remotes, phones, drinks and blankets all have somewhere to go.
Because it is compact it is also easy to move, reposition or take with you to the next home, which makes it a sensible purchase in a rented property. Dark green upholstery hides everyday marks well and looks sharp against light walls, but it shows dust and pale pet hair, so a quick weekly vacuum pays off.
It measures 117cm across, as listed. It is listed as 2 seater. Expect to do a little assembly; instructions and fixings are supplied. Before ordering, check the space it will sit in and the route it takes to get there: front door, hallway, stairs and turns.
The colour in the photographs is a guide: lighting and screens differ, so judge the shade from the colour name and the photos together. It suits first homes, rented flats, spare rooms and home offices, and works well as a second sofa in a larger room.
