About this 2 seater sofas

EBELLO Corduroy 2 Seater Sofa with Solid Wood Frame in Green

The EBELLO Corduroy 2 Seater Sofa with Solid Wood Frame is a two-seater designed for the rooms where a full-length sofa would swallow the floor: flats, bedrooms, home offices, conservatories and snug second sitting rooms. It is upholstered in corduroy in green. Corduroy has a ribbed pile that looks warm and textured, hides everyday marks better than a smooth weave and feels soft against bare arms. It is one of the most popular living-room upholstery choices in the UK right now.

The frame is described as solid wood, which is what holds a sofa square and stops it creaking or sagging as the years go by. With a listed seat depth of 55cm and a seat height of 45cm, you get a balanced seat that works for both sitting up and relaxing back. Maximum load is listed at 300kg.

Two-seater sofas like this one are chosen for comfort first: the cushioning, the seat depth and the upholstery matter more than any single extra, and the specification table sets out the details for this model.

Because it is compact it is also easy to move, reposition or take with you to the next home, which makes it a sensible purchase in a rented property. Green is a statement colour: it makes the sofa the centre of the room, and it works best with neutral walls and a restrained palette around it.

It is listed as 2 seater. Expect to do a little assembly; instructions and fixings are supplied. Before ordering, check the space it will sit in and the route it takes to get there: front door, hallway, stairs and turns.

Product photos are taken in controlled lighting, so expect the colour and texture to look a touch different in your own room at different times of day. It is a smart fit for students, couples and anyone downsizing who wants proper seating without losing the floor.

Care guide

How to care for your green corduroy two-seater sofa

A sofa is a big purchase, so a little regular care goes a long way. These steps are written for the corduroy on this sofa; always check the care label on the sofa itself first and test any cleaner on a hidden patch.

  1. Vacuum with the ribsOnce a week, run a soft upholstery brush attachment along the length of the ribs rather than across them. This lifts dust and crumbs out of the grooves without flattening the pile.
  2. Blot spills, never rubPress a clean, dry cloth onto a spill straight away to lift it. Rubbing drives liquid down into the ribs and can leave a shiny, flattened patch.
  3. Spot clean carefullyFor a mark that blotting has not shifted, use a cloth barely dampened with mild soapy water, test a hidden corner first, and let it dry naturally rather than with a hairdryer.
  4. Plump and rotateGive the seat and back cushions a good plump once a week, and where cushions are loose swap their positions now and then so wear spreads evenly.
  5. Keep it away from heat and strong sunRadiators, fires and a window that gets all-day sun fade and dry out upholstery. A gap from heat sources and a curtain or blind at the brightest hours keeps the colour true for longer.
  6. Know when to call a professionalIf the sofa is badly stained or the label says professional cleaning only, an upholstery cleaner will know what is safe for the fabric. It costs far less than replacing the sofa, and always test any product on a hidden area first.

Got questions?

Frequently Asked Questions

What size is the EBELLO Corduroy 2 Seater Sofa with Solid Wood Frame?

Seat depth is 55cm and seat height 45cm. It is listed as 2 seats. Measure your space and the route into the room before ordering.

Does it need assembly, and how long does it take?

Yes, some assembly is required and the instructions and fixings are supplied. Check the specification table and allow a little time, ideally with a second pair of hands.

How do I keep the corduroy looking good?

Once a week, run a soft upholstery brush attachment along the length of the ribs rather than across them. This lifts dust and crumbs out of the grooves without flattening the pile. Press a clean, dry cloth onto a spill straight away to lift it. Rubbing drives liquid down into the ribs and can leave a shiny, flattened patch. The full care guide is further up this page.

Is it comfortable for long sitting?

The seat is upholstered, and a seat depth of 55cm gives a balanced seat that works for both sitting up and relaxing back.

Will it fit through my door?

Measure the narrowest point on the route in, such as the front door, hallway turns and stairs, and compare it to the listed dimensions. If a sofa is tight, check whether it comes in sections or can be tilted.

How much is delivery and how long will it take?

Delivery is free on orders over £100. Your exact delivery information is confirmed at checkout, and large items may be delivered separately from smaller orders.

Can I return it if it is not right?

Yes, in line with our returns policy. Because sofas are large and often delivered on a pallet or in a large carton, please read the returns page for how to arrange a return and email us before sending anything back.

How to style a green two-seater sofa in your living room

3 min read sofadepot.co.uk

Start with the rug

A rug that is big enough for the front legs of the sofa to sit on ties the seating area together. In a green scheme, go for a texture rather than a clashing pattern.

Layer the cushions

Odd numbers look better than even ones. Mix one plain cushion with a textured one and one pattern, keeping the palette to two or three colours.

Mind the lighting

A floor lamp at one end and a table lamp on a side table give a warmer, layered glow than one ceiling light, and show the upholstery at its best in the evening.

Leave room to move

Floating the sofa slightly away from the wall, if the room is big enough, makes it feel more like a destination and gives the space an intentional look.
